The newer and better JJ's Pizza

...well, not quite yet. But soon! Here are pictures of our new store location as it currently stands. The owners will be demolishing in the next week or so. And then...TA DA!! A new JJ's will be born.

The plan is for us to open our new and improved doors around April.

Wish us lots of good luck. It'll be a ton of work for us.

Allison is flipping out!

Here are some pictures of Allison in her gymnastics class. You can see one of her coaches, Sarah, in the mirror in the first picture. Then Coach Pam (our favorite) is helping Allison on the bars.

GREAT JOB GIRL!!

Home school PE class

SO the kids have been in a HS PE class at the University for a while now (12 weeks total). They are taught by student teachers. The kids are divided up by their ages. Even Ian has participated. They seem to really enjoy it.

The group that Allison is in is particularly cute. Seems to be lots of girls. In this picture, Allison is in the purple pants, with Skye, in blue (how perfect), Eryn, in tye-dye, and Leedy, in yellow on the floor. I think during this time they were pretending to be animals. How well coordinated Allison, Skye, and Eryn were! Allison just told me they were being elephants.

I did not get any good pictures of Adam and his friends on this day. Sorry Adam!

Ready, Set, Go!

So Jason is officially crawling... Yeah!... Uh oh! He has actually been scooting around pretty well for the past month or so.

Also, a few weeks ago, his first tooth broke through. And one week later, one more came through. So he has his bottom center teeth. And we're waiting for more.

Wow!! They grow so fast.

Photo Close Ups

I just want to remind everyone that you can enlarge the photos by clicking on them!

Look closely at the Halloween pictures. You can see the details of the kids' costumes.

Home School Halloween

Here are pictures of our home school Halloween party. The Salazars' were dressed as robots. Although Ian was not really interested in dressing up on this day. My robots even had moving parts, thanks to Dad!

We have the best times with our HS friends. They are the best group of families. Not a rotten (or even mushy) apple in the whole bunch!

Does he ever do anything besides smile?

NO!

What a Moth!

One morning this past week, Ian found this totally awesome moth! It was as big as two quarters set side-by-side. We thoroughly inspected it, and then set it free in our back yard. A great home schooling moment for us all.

Video of Jason

So here is the best baby video ever! Allison (primarily) and Adam are dancing for Jason. It nearly brings me to tears! It's about 2.5 minutes long, but it's great to the end. Enjoy.

P.S. You might need to give it time to buffer before it plays for you.

Up. up in the air...

Today was the first day of the Balloon Fiesta. Although, yesterday we got to see a preview at an elementary school (the event is called APS Aloft, where balloonists get to show off their balloons to the kids at the schools). The pink & purple balloon belongs to the parents of one of Allison's gymnastics friends. A couple of our home school friends joined us. Funny, us home schoolers at the school yard before school starts!

The balloons are so beautiful! In fact, that is exactly what Adam said this morning when we turned on the TV to look at the balloon coverage. We will hopefully get the chance to see a morning event and a balloon glow before the week is up.

Let's Jump!

Grandpa has a trampoline in his back yard, which the kids love very much. Here they are jumping with their Aunt Savanah, whom they also love!

Adam Playing Soccer

The top photo shows Adam (on the left-hand side) trying very politely to get the ball from his opponent (he is not at all aggressive).

This is his first year playing soccer & he LOVES it. His dad says he gets the award for "biggest smile on the field."

He is playing with a very experienced team. All his team mates have played before. And they have won all their games, so far.

The bottom photo shows Adam (#5, in the middle) chasing the soccer ball!

Be sure to click on the photos to get a larger image.

Welcome

Hello All. Welcome to our new blog. I hope to add to it on a semi-regular basis with lots of fun pictures and descriptions of what the Salazars' are up to.

Our life is pretty crazy, as many of you know. We home school our kids (currently 2 of the 4) . We are very busy doing lots of fun activities with our wonderful home school group. I will share some of these activities with you. We also own a restaurant. We will hopefully be relocating it in the coming months. This will keep us (especially Justin) very busy. I will try to keep you up to date on this as well.

This is only the beginning! Jennifer

Yum! Sweet Potatoes.

One of Baby Jason's first feedings. He is a fast learner, and loves to eat.

Summer Days

The warm summer days are coming to an end, but we are still enjoying the water play.
